In-Person Donations

Status Update: We now prioritize in-person drop-offs to ensure all items are handled with care.

Hours: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Instructions: Please bring your clean, lightly used seasonal clothing and clean household items (in good working order) to the Care Closet door during these hours. Our staff will be there to assist you.

Note: Please do not leave donations outside of these specified hours.

Donation Items Examples

  • Baking & Pantry: Flour (5–10 lb bags), sugar (5–10 lb bags), cooking oil, baking soda, baking powder, salt, spices, jam, cake mixes
  • Grains & Pasta: Rice, pasta, Kraft Dinner (macaroni and cheese)
  • Breakfast: Cereal (hot and cold), coffee, tea, instant/powdered milk
  • Protein & Legumes: Beans (any type), lentils, peanut butter, canned chicken
  • Canned Goods: Soup (tomato, vegetable, chicken noodle, mushroom, etc.), corn, peas
  • Snacks & Drinks: Cookies, crackers, snacks, juice boxes (small and large)
  • Other: Miscellaneous non-perishable food items (“Surprise us!”)
  • Seasonal Clothing: Seasonal clothing, jackets (all sizes), boots and shoes (all sizes), new underwear (men and boys, size 10+), children’s socks
  • Oral Care: Toothbrushes, toothpaste
  • Bath & Body: Soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, lotion
  • Personal Hygiene: Deodorant, razors, feminine hygiene products
  • Baby Care: Diapers (all sizes), baby wipes, toys
  • Bedding & Linens: Queen-size sheets, blankets, comforters, bath towels, hand towels, bath mats
  • Home Décor: Lamps, window treatments, clocks, full-length mirrors, area rugs, wall art, flower vases, coasters
  • Family Essentials: Hand soap, laundry detergent, toilet paper
  • Pet & Miscellaneous: Pet supplies, small household appliances
  • Cleaning Products: All-purpose cleaner, dish soap, window cleaner, disinfecting wipes, laundry detergent
  • Cleaning Tools: Cleaning cloths, hand dusters, detail brushes, scrub brushes, brooms and dustpans, mops, buckets, vacuums
  • Bathroom Cleaning: Plungers, toilet brushes
  • Cleaning Accessories: Rubber gloves, cleaning caddies
  • Waste & Storage: Trash bags
  • Cookware & Bakeware: Skillets, saucepans, stock pots, baking pans, baking sheets
  • Dinnerware & Drinkware: Plates, bowls, drinking glasses, coffee mugs
  • Utensils & Prep Tools: Cutlery, cooking utensils, measuring cups and spoons, mixing bowls, colanders, cutting boards, paring knives, whisks
  • Kitchen Essentials: Can openers, bottle openers/corkscrews, meat thermometers, dish cloths, scrub brushes, sponges, drying racks, pot holders, oven mitts, food storage containers, ice cube trays
  • Small Appliances: Toasters, coffee makers, kettles, hand mixers
Items we cannot accept: Books or larger furniture/items.

Location

Mill Woods Care Closet is located just behind the east side of Calvary Community Church. If you are arriving with a vehicle, please park in the stalls facing the Care Closet.
