We are currently looking for dedicated volunteers to join the Care Closet team and help us create a compassionate environment where everyone feels respected, valued, and honoured. Every moment you give makes a real difference.
How Can I Help?
We have a variety of ways you can contribute, ranging from hands-on service to administrative support.
Below are the key areas where we need assistance:
Confirm neighbours (clients) ID, check into their well-being, share resources
- Assist neighbours with selecting clothing, kitchen, and household items according to household and need
- Assist neighbours with food and personal care selections according to household and need
- Sort and organize food, clothing, kitchen and household donations
- Restocking and shelf organization
- Christmas Hampers
- Care packages
- Delivery to neighbours
- Assist with donation drives and events
- Serve our neighbours during MWCC hours
- Assist with neighbour bookings, phoning, and other administrative tasks
- Data Collection Technology
- Fundraising
- Social Media
- Community Awareness
- Marketing
- Regularly pray for the MWCC needs
